Many individuals believe that developing software is complicated, but this Skills Bootcamp has been created to break that myth! During this Skills Bootcamp, you will learn the best practices for developing software such as apps and websites. You will also learn how to protect it from internal and external threats and gain the knowledge of basic coding to supercharge your development skills, which will then be tested in a hands-on practical assessment.
During week thirteen of this Skills Bootcamp, you will work in small teams to solve real-world business problems that are custom-designed by potential employers. You will present solutions in a "Dragon's Den" style pitch to relevant stakeholders. This essential part of your course will enable you to demonstrate problem-solving, presenting, teamwork and self-reflection skills which are crucial to employers.
Applicants must reside in the South Yorkshire area (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield).
