Within this course learners will gain an understanding of how to protect themselves and others when using the internet. They will explore the importance of safeguarding personal information, maintaining privacy on social media, recognising online scams, cyberbullying and online grooming, and applying strategies to stay safe online.

Communicate and Collaborate Digitally

This course introduces learners to the principles of effective digital communication in the workplace. Learners will explore appropriate communication channels, professional email skills, online meeting and collaboration tools, and the responsible use of social media to communicate effectively while maintaining privacy and security.

Using IT to Increase Productivity

In this course learners will develop the skills needed to use IT tools and systems efficiently to complete workplace tasks. They will explore how to select appropriate digital solutions, plan and complete tasks effectively, overcome potential constraints, review their approach and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency when using technology.
